Two buses from our collection took part in the Taunton Vintage Bus Day on Sunday 1st June 2025.

AEC Reliance VDV 798 ran on rural services 208 to Churchinford, 224 to Buckland St Mary and 277 to Bradford-on-Tone, whilst AEC Regent V CTT 513C had trips on service 203 to Wellington and service 218 to Bishops Lydeard. Our buses were kept busy, with some 400 passenger journeys made – all free of charge.

It’s one of our objectives as a charity to offer the public the experience of travelling on classic Devon General buses and we offer our congratulations to the Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust for a well-organised event. Thanks to Baz Carpenter and Paul Jenkins for the images.
