Six buses from our collection took part in the Devon General Society’s ‘Devon General Remembered’ running day at Exmouth on Sunday 31st August 2025.

The buses involved were ETT 995, our 1937/53 AEC ‘Light Six’ rebuild; NTT 661, our 1952 AEC Regent III; VDV 798, our 1957 AEC Reliance; VDV 817, our 1957 AEC Regent V; 503 RUO, our 1964 AEC Regent V; and CTT 513C, our 1965 AEC Regent V.

Our buses provided free services to Budleigh Salterton, Littleham Village, Littlemead & the Sea Front, Lympstone and Woodbury, along with a feeder service from/to Exeter. In all, 1,075 passenger journeys were made on our buses, helping us fulfil our charitable aim of educating the public about the history of public road passenger transport. We are very grateful to all our volunteers for helping to make the day a success.

Here are images of some our buses at the event, from Chris Drew, Paul Jenkins and Richard Nardi:
