We will be contributing buses to the ‘Devon General Remembered 2021’ running day in Tiverton on Sunday 5th September, which is being organised by our friends at the Devon General Society. We hope that the latest addition to our collection, AEC ‘Light Six’ ETT 995, will take part and enable the many people who donated to our funding appeal for the bus to have a trip on it.

The event will be based at Tiverton bus station. Free bus services using heritage vehicles – many in classic Devon General livery – will run to local destinations served by the company in the 1960s, and there will also be free open-top bus tours and stalls selling memorabilia.

The event will run from 1000 to 1600, with feeder buses at the start and end of the day serving Exeter and Tiverton Parkway Station.
